(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a 42-year-old Princeton man died Thursday evening after crashing his motorcycle.

The preliminary crash report says Timothy Pittman was driving south on Highway 169 in Livonia Township in Sherburne County at about 6:45 when the bike crashed into the median. Pittman was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died. Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.

His 39-year-old female passenger was injured. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for treatment.
