St. Cloud Elementary School Art Teacher Named Art Educator of the Year

(KNSI) — A St. Cloud Area School District teacher is the top in her class.

Westwood Elementary School art teacher Kristen Dollman-Stoll won the 2023-2024 Art Educators of Minnesota Elementary Art Educator of the Year Award.

The award goes to an instructor who strives to foster a collaborative, connected, and inclusive community. AEM recognizes the exceptional efforts that members consistently put forth to get the best artistic experience for kids.

Westwood Principal Derek Branton says, “Kristen is a fantastic teacher and advocate for arts programming throughout the district. She is an asset to Westwood and to District 742.”

She will be honored at the upcoming AEM fall conference on October 28th at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in Plymouth.
