(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Parks and Recreation Department is already looking ahead to fall with its brand new Fall Fest.
Fall Fest is on Friday, October 20th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Park.
There will be a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, face painting and more. It is a free, family-friendly event.
Registration is not required.
Another new event this fall is the Adult Voll-O-Ween Volleyball Tournament.
Costumes are encouraged for the Halloween themed tournament. It’s set for the Whitney Recreation Center on Saturday, October 28th. The cost is $150, with pools and brackets created based on team member skill levels. It is self-officiated and round-robin style.
Registration is required for this one. The deadline is Friday, October 20th.
Stars & S’mores is back on November 4th at Riverside Park. The Parks and Rec Department is partnering with the St. Cloud State University College of Science and Engineering to offer the event aimed at “curious, nature-loving kids, adults, and families alike.”
It starts at 8:00 p.m.
SCSU professors will be on hand to teach participants about celestial objects we can see both with and without a telescope and create a planisphere in the park shelter.
Registration is $5 per person, and pre-registration is required.
