ROCORI Area Community Foundation Doles Out $20,000 in Grants

(KNSI) – The ROCORI Area Community Foundation is doling out a total of $20,000 to four community organizations.

The charity gave $5,000 to the Great Northern Theatre Company for its Newsies and Youth Theatre, St. Nicholas Athletic Association for a new grandstand and backstop, River of Life Church for its ROCORI Action Packs program and Junior Achievement North for its JA BizTown program.

Four ROCORI area organizations were awarded grants through the Community Builder Fund. The program was started to help bring positive change to Cold Spring, Rockville and Richmond, and a five-mile radius around each city.
