(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox clinched a playoff spot Tuesday with a 9-1 drubbing of the Duluth Huskies.
The Northwoods League postseason starts next week with a best-of-three series. The Rox will be the two-seed in the Great Plains West subdivision, matched up against the Willmar Stingers. The series begins Monday at Joe Faber Field. Game Two, plus a potential third contest, would happen at Baker Field in Willmar. A link to purchase Game One tickets is here.
Winners advance to a one-game divisional championship, and the league championship is also a single game. The Rox captured their only title in 2017.
Another option is to catch the Rox at home to end the regular season. They have contests scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
