(KNSI) — Talahi Community School has brought back a familiar face as its next principal.
Sam Court has 18 years of experience working in schools across four states. He’s taught 2nd through 6th grade, implemented Title 1 interventions, and integrated STEM education.
Court spent the last six years as the principal at John Clark Elementary in Rockville and was the ROCORI School District’s interim superintendent from February 2022 to June 2022. Before that, Court was a teacher at Talahi from 2013 to 2016.
He earned his undergraduate degree in elementary education at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and completed coursework in teaching English as a Second Language at Kansas State University. He also holds a 6th-year certificate from St. Cloud State University for his principal and superintendent licenses.
