(KNSI) — School of Rock is back in session on Thursday night.

The Wirth Center for the Performing Arts has spent the last two weeks working with dozens of kids and turning them into rock stars. Roughly 60 students in grades six through 12 combine their talents as they are broken into ten bands and work with a professional to master two songs and learn how to perform them on stage in front of a crowd.

The songs will be a wide variety of hits from the 1970s through the 2000s.

This is the 18th year School of Rock has been going on.

Show time is 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 with a $3 fee. Buy yours here.
