(KNSI) – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for central and northeastern Minnesota.
The watch lasts until 9:00 p.m. in Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Mille Lacs, Morrison and Todd Counties. Forecasters say wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour and apple size hail are possible. The storm has a slight chance of producing a tornado.
The watch covers a population of 1.5 million people. Keep current on the latest weather conditions online and on AM 1450 and FM 99.3 KNSI.
