(KNSI) — A 12-year-old boy is being investigated after a fire at a church in Morrison County.
The sheriff’s office says first responders were called to St. Edwards Catholic Church in Elmdale at about 5:40 Tuesday afternoon. Smoke was seen coming from the back corner of the building. The Upsala and Bowlus Fire Departments worked to keep the fire from spreading throughout the church.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office with this active investigation.
