St. Cloud Community Outpost Starts School Supply Drive

(KNSI) – Starting today, the St. Cloud Community Outpost is collecting school supplies this week for its Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.

The COP House is located at 600 13th Street South. It will accept items Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. until August 25th. Organizers ask people to drop off regular pencils, colored pencils, pens, crayons, highlighters, notebooks, folders, glue sticks, erasers and pencil sharpeners.

The Backpack Giveaway will take place before classes begin. An exact date has yet to be selected. Last year, dozens of kids in need could start school on the right foot, thanks to the program.
