(KNSI) – Investigators are asking the public for information about a woman who went missing after running from a car in St. Cloud seven years ago.

On June 22nd, 2016, 22-year-old Shannon Marie Boiteau ran into the woods near Interstate 94 and County Road 74 and was never heard from again. At the time, police said the Chippewa Falls woman may have fled Wisconsin because of an arrest warrant for a probation violation.

Her boyfriend was driving the car, and he told police they were on their way to California when they got into an argument, and she fled from the car. Police say Boiteau didn’t know anyone in the St. Cloud area and had no cell phone on her.

Over the years, police have conducted several searches for the missing woman, but all have come up empty. Shannon has left behind a daughter who was just a year old when her mom vanished.

Shannon is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan tank top and black leggings.

The family is offering a $3,000 reward for any information. If you have any information about Shannon’s whereabouts or regarding her disappearance, please contact Crime Stoppers or the police.

You can call the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-345-4444 or the Chippewa Falls Police Department at 715-723-4424.
