(KNSI) — National Ice Cream Day is Sunday, July 16th, and there are plenty of places in central Minnesota to grab a sweet treat, and others are offering some cool deals to celebrate.
Explore Minnesota named Mr. Twisty one of the best ice cream places in the state. It has a walk-up location in St. Cloud and a spot at Pinecone Central Park in Sartell. Mr. Twisty dishes up soft serve, Italian ice with rotating flavors, twisters, malts, shakes, and food. Learn more here.
Explore Minnesota also has a cool way for people to eat their way through the state this summer. It’s called the Minnesota Scoop Passport.
Participating businesses include Jupiter Moon Ice Cream in St. Joseph, Lindy Scoop in Little Falls, Sweet Escape in Annandale and Litchfield, What’s the Scoop in Buffalo and St. Michael, and Purple Parlor in Sauk Centre.
Fudgin’ Delicious has a location in the Crossroads Mall and another in Sartell. They have more than ice cream. Customers can also get a burger and fries as a side to their scoops.
The My Cold Stone Club rewards program members at Cold Stone Creamery will get surprise offers in their inbox on the Cold Stone app through Thursday, July 20th. Members can also get .99 delivery on orders of $20 or more through the app. The company also offers a $5 bonus gift card when $25 in gift cards are bought.
DoorDash customers can get deals and discounts through various businesses through July 19th, including buy two, get $5 off (mix & match) Talenti, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, Popsicle, Magnum, Good Humor and Klondike in select stores.
Dairy Queen customers will get $1 off any dipped cone excluding kid cones, on July 16th through the DQ app.
All weekend long, participating Insomnia Cookies locations have a free scoop of ice cream to level up any in store purchase or local delivery order.
