Summertime by George Returns to Eastman Park July 12th

(KNSI) — After taking a breather following the big Fourth of July celebrations, Summertime by George is back at Eastman Park.

Wednesday, July 12th’s musical acts are The Dap Squad with special guests Dennis Warner & the D’s, who are new to the stage.

The Dap Squad features artists who have shared the spotlight with Prince, Harry Connick Jr., the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Guess Who, Blue Öyster Cult and more. They started in 2007 and have movie and television credits under their belts.

Folksinger and songwriter Dennis Warner is bringing his band, the D’s, along for the ride. The shows blend serious, thought provoking songs with lighter, up-tempo material. He is known for bringing the audience into the performance with laughter and even a couple of sing-alongs.

Music starts at 5:00, and come hungry. The Middle Town Market has food trucks of all sorts to please every palate. Grab a beverage to wash down your dinner or a snack to go along with it at Eastman Tavern. It offers a great view of the stage, so you can still see the action.
