(KNSI) — Sterling Park Senior Living is hosting Summer Fest on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with proceeds benefiting Alzheimer’s research.
Take a trip to the past with a display of antique vehicles lined up throughout the facility’s campus, located a block north of Division Street in Waite Park behind Great Harvest Bread. Vendor booths will be set up, along with entertainment and a food truck from Lily’s Wings.
Admission is free, but purchasing raffle tickets is encouraged. They cost $2 apiece and will put you in a drawing for a range of prizes. The money raised is going to be donated to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on September 23rd at Lake George in St. Cloud.
The goal for the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is to raise $140,000. Summer Fest is one of many events occurring in the run-up to the walk that will help the nonprofit reach that target.
