Congressman Tom Emmer To Speak with Vets In St. Cloud

(KNSI) – A local U.S. congressman will be in St. Cloud next week to meet with men and women whose sacrifices have helped keep America free.

Sixth District Representative Tom Emmer plans to stop by the St. Cloud VA Health Center and the St. Cloud V.F.W. Post 428 on Thursday, July 6th. Emmer will be speaking with members of the Minnesota Disabled American Veterans. More than 38,400 veterans live in the sixth district, which includes all of Benton, Sherburne, Wright and Carver Counties, along with northern Anoka County and southeastern Stearns County, including all of St. Cloud.

He is in his fourth term representing the area in Washington D.C.
