(KNSI) — The Sauk Rapids-Rice School District has hired a new Director of Teaching and Learning.
Dr. Karrie Boser is the principal at Healy High School in Pierz but will start her new role at SRR on July 8th. Boser has been a business and technology teacher and dean of students.
The Director of Teaching and Learning works on curriculum development to meet or exceed standards and creates and implements faculty development programs. The director works with staff and faculty to tweak the curriculum and stay up to date on cutting edge research backed delivery methods.
Dr. Boser was one of four finalists for the position and was unanimously chosen by the board.
