(KNSI) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota are celebrating National Boys & Girls Club Week next week with several different artsy and unique events.

Enrollees at the Riverview KIDSTOP are painting kindness rocks and placing them around the Sartell school. Site Manager Carlie Harmon says, “We want to make our school more welcoming and to help anyone when they need a smile!”

The Eastside Club plans to host Camp Olympics Week with a different competition each day. The Talahi KIDSTOP site will be making hangable art for a nearby nursing home. The Roosevelt Club looks to spend Wednesday at Seberger Park at the wading pool and doing a family movie night. The Kennedy KIDSTOP intends to take a trip to Skatin’ Place plus an ice cream party. The Southside Club has Spirit Week with theme dress-up days.

Vice President of Operations Geri Bechtold says, “This week is always a fun week to celebrate the Boys & Girls Club and the important services we provide to youth in our community. We want every youth who walks through our doors to have a quality Club experience, and we are proud to be a part of building their GREAT FUTURE!”
