(KNSI) – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating after a suspect was hurt in an officer involved shooting in St. Joseph Wednesday night.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says the Stearns/Benton SWAT Team was called to assist the St. Joseph Police Department in executing a search warrant and taking the suspect into custody at a home in the 200 block of Able Street East. The suspect was accused of making threats with a gun.
Authorities didn’t give any details on the events that led up to the shooting, only that officers immediately provided medical attention at the scene, and the person was rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown.
There is no danger to the public.
