It’s Summertime By George Week Two

(KNSI) — Today marks not just the first day of summer but also week two of Summertime by George.

The opening act is Stone Road, which takes the stage at 5:00 p.m. and is presented by Falcon National Bank. Stone Road is described as a variety band covering the best of the 80s and 90s country and rock. Their shows are described as high energy with fun dance music.

The headliner tonight is Free and Easy, presented by Spire Credit Union. Free and Easy were inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2008, covering acts such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Santana, Stevie Wonder and Tower of Power and supplying their own takes on Justin Bieber, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams. Attendees may also be treated to a medley of songs from Michael Jackson or Prince.

Next week is a Power Night with two main acts. Summertime by George newcomers Church of Cash presented by Coborn’s presents its Johnny Cash tribute, followed by local classic country favorites The Killer Vees presented by Xcel Energy.
