(KNSI) — A new study shows Minnesota is the fourth best state in the country for working dads.

Personal finance website WalletHub looked at all 50 states and the District of Columbia, comparing 23 metrics to determine which were the most and least friendly toward working fathers.

Minnesota came in first for the lowest unemployment rates for dads with kids under 18 and for a dad’s economic and social wellbeing. That category looked at median family income, the share of working men living with economic security, and the share of kids under 18 with a dad present who were living in poverty. We were third best for child care which looked at the quality of available daycares, child care costs, and the quality of schools. Minnesota was also the third best for health, which looked at life expectancy among men, men’s mental health, and the share of physically active men.
