(KNSI) – The Ledge Amphitheatre in Waite Park is teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association during the blockbuster Barenaked Ladies concert this Friday night.

The Ledge is picking a nonprofit to help at each show this season. The group will be stationed outside the main gates, looking to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on September 23rd. It is set to take place at Lake George in St. Cloud.

The goal is to raise $140,000 locally. There is no fee for people to participate in the fall event, but they are encouraged to bring in donations to help with care, treatment, and to find an eventual cure online.

Also performing on Friday is Minnesota’s own Semisonic and opening act Del Amitri. A link to purchase concert tickets is here. They are available for as low as $40 plus fees and tax.
