(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Area Farmers Market kicks into high gear this weekend.
The outdoor market is set up every Saturday from 8:00 to noon between now and October in the Lady Slipper Lot off Division Street in downtown St. Cloud. People can get their hands on things from local growers, bakers, and craft makers. The market always features vegetables, meats, dairy products, baked goods, outdoor plants, cut flowers, maple syrup, honey, berries, and other locally grown goods.
The St. Cloud Farmers Market participates in the Minnesota SNAP/EBT benefits program. EBT users can use their benefits for $1 tokens to buy any SNAP-eligible food items available at the market.
Farmers markets are also up and running in Sartell on Mondays from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sauk Rapids on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in St. Joseph from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, and in Waite Park from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
