(KNSI) – Some local kids are hitting the ice cream jackpot thanks to Coborn’s.
For the second year in a row, the St. Cloud-based grocery chain dropped off 100 boxes of frozen treats at the St. Cloud Community Outpost.
They stopped by with a load of ice cream bars and sandwiches on Thursday. Officials with the Greater St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation called it an amazing donation.
In the summer, volunteers serve snacks to around 100 kids a day. Organizers say with the COP Houses’ summer soccer camp coming up next week; the donation comes at a perfect time.
Coborn’s also stocked the COP House’s freezer in 2022.
