(KNSI) — A public notification meeting is coming up regarding the release of a level three predatory offender.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Department of Corrections will be hosting the meeting regarding Mark Thomas Fleischman moving to Munson Township, which is near the city of Richmond.
According to the DOC, 55-year-old Fleischman has a history of sexual contact with known adult females. In each incident, Fleischman met and befriended the victims via social media and, throughout the interactions, would drug the victims’ beverages without their knowledge. Fleischman would then exploit the victims’ vulnerable state.
The meeting is set for June 8th at 6:30 p.m. inside the River Lakes Civic Arena, 319 Central Avenue South, Richmond, MN 56368.
Information will be presented regarding Fleischman and the predatory offender registration process. Fleichman’s anticipated release date is June 19th. The DOC says the address change is in effect as of June 20th.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is releasing this information under Minnesota Statutes, which authorize law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a public registrant’s release from prison or a secure treatment facility when the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office believes that the release of information will enhance public safety and protection.
Fleischman has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
