(KNSI) – One of the oldest schools in central Minnesota will hold its 166th commencement on Friday.

Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville is celebrating the Class of 2023 at Saint John’s Abbey Church. The ceremony starts with a 3:00 p.m. Baccalaureate Mass with Saint Cloud Diocese Bishop Patrick Neary.

Senior Sylva Bohannon of Saint Joseph will give the senior address for the 43 graduating students.

The Class of 2023 comprises students from Cold Spring, Glenwood, Minnetonka, Rockville, St. Augusta, St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Sartell, Waite Park, and White Bear Lake. There are also international students from France, China, Korea, Japan, and Nigeria.
