(KNSI) – Six drivers have advanced out of the Local Bus Roadeo to the state competition in July.
Metro Bus announced the results Tuesday from the St. Cloud event, which was held in the parking lot of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on May 18th. David Peacock, Keith Drake, and Larry Dolan finished atop the small bus division. Taking the crown in the Fixed Route competition was Jason Hiivala, followed by Adam Ploof and Julie Dockendorf.
Metro Bus has won the Statewide Bus Roadeo 24 times and has seen a string of successes on the national stage as well, placing in the top four on eight separate occasions.
The organization has been holding local roadeos since 1986.
