(KNSI) — The perfect food needs a palate pleasing partner to wash it all down, and St. Cloud Area Restaurant Week is saying cheers to beers, coffees, teas, margaritas and other specialty handcrafted beverages for its Friday theme.
The featured items run the gamut as far as when you would want to take a sip. Adventure Coffee’s butter pecan latte and Kinder Coffee Lab’s caramel latte work best around breakfast time.
A summery afternoon is the right time for Safari Point Restaurant’s Kesar mango orange drink or Spice of Life Tea Shop’s Long Days of Summer iced tea.
Get into the party spirit with beer and cocktails. Coyote Moon Grille is turning Key lime pie into a martini. Iron Street Distillery has an earthy cocktail called the Straw-Basil Smash, which blends gin, basil, elderflower syrup, and soda. Mexican Village highlights its White Claw flip margarita.
On tap at Beaver Island Brewing Company, it’s the Axe Dragger Minnesota IPA. Down the road in Waite Park, Back Shed Brewing is showing off its plum blackberry vanilla sour. And last but not least, the Veranda Lounge is dusting off a classic, the Prohibition style old fashioned.
A closer look at each drink is here.
