(KNSI) – Catholic Charities Emergency Services is looking for summer volunteers to help at the food shelf.
There are several different roles to fill, including sorting and packing. Donation attendants greet donors and help them unload their cars. The Basic Everyday Essentials program assists people shopping for clothing and other items.
You will help people in need of all ages, from children to parents and seniors. Inflation has caused demand for assistance to skyrocket in recent years. In 2022, there were 5.5 million visits to food shelves statewide.
Volunteer Coordinator Jill Seiler says the St. Cloud area always steps up when needed. “I am amazed at the dedication of our volunteers. They never hesitate to jump in and serve our community.”
