(KNSI) – Fun is the name of the game for a 5K event hosted by District 742 this Saturday.
Strides Against Stigma benefits The Beautiful Mind Project and Mindology Mental Wellness Center. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., an hour before race time. It starts and ends at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. You can jog, run, or walk the course. Organizers want serious athletes to be in the front with casual participants lined up towards the rear.
There will be food and vendors on site, plus a dunk tank and a slew of games and kid’s activities. Everyone in the family will have something they enjoy.
Registration costs $25 and kids under 18 can take part for free. A link to sign up is here.
