(KNSI) – A large fire along Interstate 94 near Clearwater caused significant damage to a business.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office was called to a vehicle fire at Clearwater Auto Parts on County Road 7 in Clearwater Township around 11:30 Tuesday morning. Witnesses and first responders say the building quickly became fully engulfed, and nearby grass also caught fire. Firefighters had the blaze extinguished around 3:00 p.m.
Officials say the fire caused considerable damage to a building. Investigators say the fire was started accidentally by employees working on a vehicle in the garage.
There were no injuries reported. The smoke and flames were visible from the interstate.
