Police Looking For Mailbox Vandals, Thieves

(KNSI) – Law enforcement is looking for the culprits behind damaging nearly a dozen mailboxes near Royalton.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says that sometime between 10:30 and 11:30 on Thursday night, at least eleven mailboxes were damaged or stolen along Imperial Road and 180th Avenue in Bellevue Township. Investigators say it appears the mailboxes were smashed with a green object.

Deputies say a full-size truck was seen in the area with loud exhaust and after-market lights on the front. The make and model are unknown.

Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to call the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at 320-632-9233.
