(KNSI) – The schedule is set for one of central Minnesota’s largest summer celebrations. St. Cloud Granite City Days takes place Thursday, June 22nd, through Sunday, June 25th.

Events begin with the Lemonade Concert and Art Fair on June 22nd, in its 50th year. Over 150 art vendors, musical artists, and food trucks will be there. The Little Lemons Art Park will offer children’s activities. Mayor Dave Kleis kicks off the 2023 Granite City Days on campus with the opening ceremonies and the Mayor’s Rock-On. Afterwards, a performance will feature the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in Ritsche Auditorium.

Friday, June 23rd, the 35th annual Liberty Bank Block Party concert with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone will take place. The opening act is the Cowsills starting at 7:00 p.m. at Whitney Park in St. Cloud.

Saturday features the ever-popular Granite City Days Parade through downtown St. Cloud beginning at 10:00 a.m. Registration to be in the parade is open. Saturday also marks the start of the two-day Granite City Days Adult Softball Tournament. Men’s and co-ed teams are made of players at least 16 or older. The games are at Whitney Park. Another Saturday event is Chalk the Riverwalk.

Festivities finish on Sunday, June 25th, with the 5K/1K Run at Eastman Park in St. Cloud. Runners take the course at 8:00 a.m. for the 5K and 9:00 a.m. for the 1K. Those registering for the event by May 26th are guaranteed to get a T-shirt. After the run, everyone is invited to Family Fun Fest along the shores of Lake George. There will be activities for adults and kids from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The fun includes fishing, touch a truck, bike rodeo, petting zoo, paddle boating, inflatables, yard games and more.
