(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Dementia Community Action Network has its 2023 summit scheduled in St. Cloud for Thursday.
Guests will be welcomed to The Regency Venue at 912 West St. Germain Street beginning at 7:30 a.m. The schedule begins at 9:00 a.m. Attendance is free.
Dr. Kim Tjaden is the emcee for the event. She has a local practice and was named the 2019 Minnesota Family Physician of the Year. DCAN Founder Dr. Patrick Zook is the featured speaker. They will talk about the latest findings in dementia research and different ways to help slow its progression.
Several vendors will be at the summit, staffing exhibits featuring dementia-related products and services. There will be plenty of time to explore each booth between the keynote talks and when lunch is served at 1:00 p.m.
There are two parking options, 25 spots behind The Regency Venue and also in the St. Mary’s Church lot. Volunteers will be directing traffic at both places.
