(KNSI) – A sailor from Albany is working to keep the nation safe on the world’s oceans.
U.S. Navy Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Corey Marstein was recently training in the Philippine Sea with a unit taught to board, search, and seize ships.
His ship is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in the U.S. 7th fleet. The fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest group of forward-deployed vessels and operates with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
