(KNSI) – The City of Sartell wants residents to have a say in what takes the place of the former Verso Paper Mill. The site closed after a catastrophic explosion in May 2012.
A survey is available online that will help set up guiding principles for the location. They will act as a marker for firms as they present proposals for new buildings, parks, or other ideas for the site. The survey is available until May 10th.
Once residents establish what they want from the site, it will allow planners to make decisions on how the land will be used when it is redeveloped.
Sartell hired former community development director Anita Archambeau to consult on the project.
