(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Fair Grandstand calendar is filling up with the latest announcement that Keith Urban is playing there on August 26th.
He will be joined by special guest Lindsay Ell.
The Australian-born Urban has won four GRAMMY awards, 13 CMAs, 15 ACMs, three American Music Awards, two People’s Choice Awards and celebrated nine consecutive gold, platinum or multi-platinum albums.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Ell gained U.S. citizenship on December 8th, 2022. Randy Bachman discovered her as a teen and helped co-write and produce her debut album, Consider This. She has released four more albums and cites Urban as an influence on her guitar playing.
Showtime is at 7:00. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 21st and start at $52. There is a general admission pit and reserved seating available for $87. Tickets are sold online and by phone. They are not available at the State Fairgrounds ticket office. Prices do not include State Fair admission. Concertgoers must buy a ticket for the fair to get in.
