(KNSI) – Three men have been arrested for stealing an ATM from inside Briggs Lake General Store in Palmer Township.
Deputies from the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 4:00 a.m. Friday and found someone had broken through the front door and taken the machine. Sheriff Joel Brott says two of the men and the vehicle they were using were caught on security cameras.
A description was sent out through dispatch to those on patrol. It didn’t take long before the getaway vehicle was spotted by another unit. The suspects fled an attempted traffic stop and were pursued by deputies before eventually being arrested.
The three men apprehended were 51-year-old Johnathan Axelson of Minneapolis, 40-year-old Daniel Johnson of Spencer, Iowa, and 36-year-old Robert McKevitt of Spirit Lake, Iowa.
