(KNSI) – St. Cloud Technical & Community College had a great showing at the Minnesota SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference, with seven students placing in the top three across all categories.

The undergraduates with the Auto Body, Medium/Heavy Truck, Electrical, and HVAC programs participated. Auto Body students Spender Doran and Tayden Christians placed second and third. Medium/Heavy Truck students Josiah Carlson and Tagen Zepeda placed first and third. Electrical student Kody Alickson placed second. HVAC students Carson Richter and Andrew Nieland placed first and second.

Carlson and Richter can attend nationals on June 19th-23rd in Atlanta.

During the conference, college and high school students all over the state demonstrated their leadership and technical skills while competing in over 80 categories.
