(KNSI) – Hippity-hop to the 46th annual 104.7 KCLD Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.

The largest free egg hunt in central Minnesota is happening at the Waite Park Babe Ruth Baseball Complex at 10:00 a.m. Kat with KCLD explained to KNSI News how the egg hunt works, and she says you want to arrive on time. “The ages are zero to 10, and every area is going to be roped off for the age-appropriate child. On the one, two, three-go, then everybody goes to get their eggs. It’s over in about 30 seconds to a minute.”

Kat says it’s a mad dash for eggs, but the youngest hunters can have some help. “Each age group is just as competitive, and parents will be able to help their children that can’t walk. So, zero to two, they’ll have their own area, and you can just go at your own pace, which is good.”

The event offers tons of prizes for kids and adults. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures starting at 9:15 a.m. For more information, click here.
