Sartell Teacher A Finalist For Minnesota Teacher Of The Year

(KNSI) – Sartell High School’s Joe Schulte is one of 11 finalists for Minnesota Teacher of the Year.

The technology instructor runs the SABREBuild construction program and other technical education courses, including building sets for the school’s drama productions.

Schulte and the other finalists will be interviewed by a selection panel on an individual basis. The winner will then be announced the next day, May 7th, at a banquet at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. The panel features 21 people from a variety of backgrounds.

The last 11 candidates have survived cuts to a field originally made up of 132 people.
