(KNSI) – Walk on over to the First Steps Baby Expo this Saturday.
Strollers and baby carriers are welcome too at the River’s Edge Convention Center. The event is put on by Leighton Broadcasting and favorites like the KCLD 104.7 Daddy Diaper Pull will be back for the 14th annual event.
One of downtown St. Cloud’s newest stores, Baby’s on Broadway, will help sponsor what’s being called a party within a party, says organizer Tara Traut.
“Our ‘Oh Baby!’ Baby Shower, that’ll be taking place at 1:00 p.m. where we give away over $5,000 in prizes.”
The expo is designed for the whole family. The Easter Bunny will be on hand along with animal balloons, bounce houses, and coloring books.
If you are about to be a mom or dad for the first time, you will find a wealth of great information through seminars and other educational opportunities. Traut talks about this year’s featured presenter.
“Our guest author is Meg Flynn. She is locally known in St. Cloud and she has a new book out.”
Tickets are sold at the door only and cost $10 per person. Kids 12 and under get in free. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
