(KNSI) – Two accidents, one in each direction, snarled traffic on Interstate 94 at Opportunity Drive a little after 3:00 p.m. Thursday.
The inside lane was closed both ways while tow trucks and law enforcement cleared the scene. That led to traffic backups of about a half-mile to a mile for motorists.
The area is seeing a light wintry mix making roads slippery. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Thursday night and early Friday. A winter storm watch takes effect from 7:00 p.m. Friday until Saturday morning.
