(KNSI) — Registration is open for the CentraCare M-Physicians Orthopedics Earth Day Run next month.
Race organizer Bill Corcoran laid out the route. “We start right behind the River’s Edge Convention Center, just short of the bridge. And then they’ll run across the bridge and head out of town and end up coming back down Beaver Island after a tour down south. And then they’ll end up finishing right on St. Germain right in front of the Mexican village.”
The events are on April 21st and 22nd.
Corcoran tells KNSI News the event is rebuilding after COVID-19-related cancelations. “We’re trying to bring all those vendors back and slowly but surely, they are. We’re attempting to try and rebuild it into that big festive atmosphere with a block party and a lot of great vendors inside and outside.”
The events include a half marathon, a two-person half marathon relay, a 5K run, a kids 1K, a 5K corporate team challenge and a block party.
The event is also looking for volunteers. So far, they have around 150 people to help on race day but need 350 people to pull it off. To register, volunteer or get more information, click here.
