(KNSI) – A St. Cloud beermaker and a local hockey team are helping to raise funds in honor of a player killed in a car crash last year.

Pantown Brewing and the St. Cloud Norsemen will team up on Wednesday to support the Charlie Boike Scholarship Fund. According to Pantown, 25% of all sales and 100% of tips from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. will go to the scholarship. The company calls it Beeranthropy at Pantown. Boike’s mother, Erika, is the Norseman’s billet coordinator and game day operations director.

Boike was a member of the St. Cloud Crush. The 17-year-old Tech High School junior was on his way home after a game on December 10th when he lost control on an icy road near his home.
