Suspect Arrested For August 2022 Bank Robbery

(KNSI) – A suspect in an August bank robbery in Clearwater has been arrested.

The American Heritage Bank branch was targeted on Monday, the 22nd, in the afternoon. Physical evidence from the scene came back on November 9th pointing to a man in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A follow-up investigation from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as 30-year-old Daren Teague. Wisconsin law enforcement agencies located Teague, arrested him, and extradited him to Wright County. He is currently held in the jail in Buffalo and has been charged with aggravated robbery and terroristic threats by the prosecutor’s office.
