Cathedral Honors Student-Athletes Committed To NCAA Division III Schools

(KNSI) – Ten Cathedral High School student-athletes were recognized Wednesday morning at a signing ceremony as they commit to playing collegiately at the NCAA Division III level.

The group is made up of five men and five women across a variety of sports. Three will be going to the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and two more to the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. The full list is below.

Olivia Scheeler – Swimming and Diving – Gustavus
Kayla Sexton – Volleyball – UW-La Crosse
Taylar Schaefer – Gymnastics – UW-Stout
Ava Schmidt – Ice Hockey – Endicott College
Hope Schueller – Track & Field – UW-Eau Claire
Joseph Torborg – Lacrosse – still deciding which school
Emanuel Kutzera – Football and Track & Field – UW-La Crosse
Jacob Eickhoff – Track & Field – UW-Eau Claire
Trevor Fleege – Baseball – UW-Eau Claire
Jackson Phillipp – Baseball – Crown College

Cathedral will also have two graduates playing at the Division I level. Kellen Kinzer is set to suit up for the University of North Dakota Football Team and Braden Lemke will be a part of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Men’s Swimming and Diving program.
