(KNSI) – St. Cloud Metro Bus CEO Ryan Daniel has been honored by a magazine that serves the mass transportation industry.

He was named one of the National Safety Council’s Safety+Health Magazine’s 2023 CEOs Who Get It. Officials say Daniel is deeply committed to caring for everyone at Metro Bus, especially the employees.
Under his leadership, Metro Bus has improved its over-the-road safety record. Accidents fell by 55% from 2017 through 2021. Authorities say the development of the Metro Bus Safety Program was critical in cutting down the number of issues.
According to publishers, Daniel’s efforts led to Metro Bus providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services to St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, and Waite Park.
Daniel was one of seven winners of the award across the country.
