(KNSI) – In honor of Black History Month, Visit Greater St. Cloud has put together a list of five local Black-owned businesses to support.
Ashley’s Yummy Rollz is a catering business owned by Ashley Williams. Ashley’s Yummy Rollz serves up a variety of foods.
The thrift store Back to Vintage is owned by Quint Warren and is located at 3807 West St. Germain Street in St. Cloud. You can buy, sell, trade vintage items, and find an outfit.
Ellora’s Beauty Supply opened nine years ago and is located at 3320 West Division Street in St. Cloud. Owner Ellora Jackson offers hair products, accessories, wigs and beauty supplies. The store is also home to DripBar clothing, owned by Jackson’s daughter, Lenora Hunt.
Filsan Talent Partners is a diversity and inclusion consulting firm. The firm is owned by Hudda Ibrahim and offers training for businesses.
Krewe restaurant in St. Joseph features Cajun, Creole, Italian, Vietnamese, and Irish-influenced dishes. The restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Mateo Mackbee. He was recently a competitor on the Food Network Show Chopped.
The Black Business Expo is coming up on Friday and Saturday at the Park Event Center in Waite Park. Around 30 different small business owners will have their wares on display.
