Police Looking for Armed and Dangerous Murder Suspect Who Failed To Show For Trial

(KNSI) – A suspected killer is considered armed and on the loose after failing to show up for court.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Windom Police Department is looking for Ralph Leslie Apmann. He is believed to be armed with a 9mm handgun and an AR-15 rifle. Investigators say he may be in the Twin Cities metro area.

The 58-year-old posted bail after being charged with homicide but failed to appear for trial on Monday. He is wanted on a felony warrant for 2nd-degree homicide and failure to appear for a jury trial.

He is five feet ten inches tall, 230 pounds, hazel eyes and bald/gray hair.

Anyone who has seen Apmann or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911. Police say don’t approach him.
