(KNSI) – The world’s largest ice carousel is one of a dozen attractions bringing people to Green Prairie Fish Lake near Little Falls this weekend.
Running from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, there will be Lego displays, a frozen forest sponsored by the local Girl Scout troop, a DJ, human bowling and foosball, and curling. A youth hockey exhibition is set for early Saturday afternoon. Even airplane rides and Santa Claus are being deployed for a good cause.
The 6th annual Sunny Zwilling Memorial Ice Carousel Extravaganza benefits Flyer Pride Pack and Kare Kloset, which each provide low-income students with food and necessary items to use at home.
Last year’s carousel had a diameter of better than 1,300 feet, over four football fields long. It is free to attend. Raffle tickets can be purchased online. Donations are encouraged and can be dropped off when you arrive at the festival.
